Guitarist

To describe Eric in one word, You can call him “Funky”. Eric has been in the music business for many years and is very passionate about R&B, Jazz, and various style of music. Music became apart of his life through a friend name Charles Killingsworth. Eric’s friend Charles was learning to play the bass guitar at the time and encouraged Eric to learn how to play the guitar. Eric’s uncle, Walter Gavin, whom played Blues Guitar was also a major influence on him choosing the instrument. Eric began his professional career performing overseas during the 80’s USO tour. During his music career, he worked with several bands in the South Florida area such as Bristols Cream, Raquel Williams, South Side Soul, Fish and Grits, Maximum Drive, and the late great Emeridge Jones of E.J and Company. Eric has performed and opened several major acts such as Thelma Houston, Cameo, Taste of Honey, and the American Idol winner Fantasia. Having recently finished his first album, Eric also has aspirations of becoming a music producer and writer for other artists as well under his company Eric D Entertainment.
