Lead and Background Vocals

James Taylor was born on the 26 of August and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio. As a child he showed an interest in graphics, art and design. Later in life, as James attended college he discovered his passion for music. He discovered this passion while performing in his fraternity step show. He realize that he could sing and dance when he had to perform his fraternity’s step routines.

This is when music became a vital part of his life. He became a member of one of the choirs at Ohio State, as well as the University of Cincinnati singing tenor under the direction of Julius James and Donald Lawrence. He later joined the Band” Love Maximum” Under the direction

of the leader singer of “The Manhattans”, Gerald Alson. He also performed with other musical legends such as The Temptations, The Dramatics, The Stylistics, Lenny Williams, Lakeside and the Midnight Star, and Alexander O’Neal and Cherelle. He also performed with several local groups in South Florida, including Chain Reaction, Mystique,Pure Seduction, The Ol’Skool Gang and The Valerie Tyson Band. James splits his time up between South Florida and California, where he also performs with various bands. JT is also the owner and operator of the Urban Radio Artists, and Club Party Radio websites that keep you in the know with what’s going on in the world of music, fashion, politics, and lifestyle.
